El proyecto Red ALyC (www.redalyc.com) es un portal que reúne la producción más relevante de las ciencias sociales y humanidades de la región, aumenta la visibilidad y disponibilidad del conocimiento producido y permite la libre interacción entre los diversos actores encargados de la producción de conocimiento: investigadores, editores, universidades y centros de investigación, entre otros. Red ALyC coadyuva a que el gran ideal del acceso universal a la información sea realidad

La investigación en comunicación cuenta ya con un número apreciable de artículos y textos que han contextualizado la evolución histórica y las principales corrientes doctrinales según los diferentes autores. Sin embargo, todavía son muy escasos los estudios bibliométricos sobre la investigación en las revistas científicas. En este artículo se van a analizar las revistas españolas de comunicación que mayor índice de impacto poseen en el sistema de cuantificación del factor de impacto establecido por INRECS. Para ello, se han analizado las diez revistas de mayor índice de impacto en el año 2008 para conocer el presente de la investigación en España. Los resultados muestran una equiparación de géneros, una media de dos investigadores por artículo y una prevalencia de estudios cuantitativos

Grado de adecuación de las revistas de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba a las normas internacionales de presentación, período 2000-2007

The final work of degree in Library and Documentation aims to determine the degree of standardization in terms of formal presentation that are observed in scientific journals edited by the National University of Cordoba in the period 2000-2007. It shows an overview of the work and institutional efforts made in the evaluation of periodical publications at the international, regional, country level, and in Argentina, especially naming the activities of Caicyt in support of the edition of scientific journals. The situation of the magazines of the National University of Córdoba (UNC) from a paper presented by the Center for Advanced Studies (CEA) of the UNC in which they were evaluated according to the criteria of Latindex. The ISO presentation standards of publications for the international level, and analyze the equivalents IRAM of Argentina and UNE of Spain in the national level. University journals and Caicyt catalogs 158 paper journals published by the university are collected from which they are chosen to evaluate the ones that are still published, which are scientific and have published at least 3 issues between the years 2000 and 2007. Indexes are made with all the magazines identified, which are presented as annexes to this study. From the analysis of the UNE and IRAM standards 18 indicators are grouped into 4 parameters, and are described according to the norms. The tool is built up of 75 indexes to collect the information according to the indicators and applies to 2 fascicles of each one of the 30 magazines surveyed. The results obtained indicate that the journals of the UNC have a low degree of normalization, the less normalized aspects being the presence of indexes and cumulative summaries, the existence of a volume cover, the inclusion of the dates of receipt and acceptance of the articles, and the division of the publication into volumes with independent fascicles for each volume, among others. 5 journals exceed 50% of normalization. It is recommended that a policy be editorial by the authorities and the support or approach of the professionals of the information to the publishers of the magazines of the UNC

The new dynamics of scientific knowledge and their impact on Psychology in Latin America

Este trabajo analiza las diversas transformaciones que se registraron en las nuevas formas de producción de conocimiento científico durante las últimas décadas con el objetivo de identificar las repercusiones en el terreno específico de la psicología en América Latina. En primer lugar, se revisan diferentes posiciones teóricas provenientes del campo de la sociología de la ciencia que dan cuenta de los cambios producidos en el contexto de la investigación científica en el mundo. Luego, se realiza un análisis retrospectivo del desarrollo de la psicología en América Latina con especial cobertura de los tópicos que reconocen modificaciones sustanciales: publicaciones científicas, formación de investigadores, agendas de investigación, entre otros. En su conjunto, se plantea que las diversas transformaciones operadas en el campo del conocimiento científico en los últimos tiempos han tenido su correlato en el desarrollo de la psicología en América Latina a través de la modificación de sus prácticas, temas y dinámicas de producción y circulación de conocimiento.This paper analyzes the various transformations that took place in the new ways to produce scientific knowledge in the last decades, with the purpose of identifying their repercussions on the specific field of Psychology in Latin America. First, we review the different theoretical stances emerging from the Sociology of Science field, which provide an account of the changes that took place in the context of scientific research around the world. Then, we perform a retrospective analysis of the evolution of Psychology in Latin America, with emphasis on topics that underwent substantial changes, such as scientific publications, research education, research agendas, etc. Taking them as a whole, we propose that the various transformations that take place in the field of scientific knowledge in recent times relate to the development of Psychology in Latin America because it modified the practice, the topics and the dynamics of production and dissemination of knowledge.Fil: Gallegos de San Vicente, Miguel Omar. Una década de investigación en Anales de Documentación (1998-2007) : Aproximación bibliométrica y temática

Se analiza la productividad, colaboración, ámbitos de investigación aborda-dos, visibilidad e impacto de la publicación. AD ha publicado 153 trabajos de inves-tigación, en los que han intervenido 176 autores de 56 instituciones diferentes. AD presenta una paridad entre hombres y mujeres, habiendo participado en la revista instituciones de 12 países diferentes. Los principales temas abordados son Internet y las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación, la Biblioteconomía, la gestión de la información y del conocimiento, la evaluación de la calidad de los servicios, las fuentes de información y el acceso a las mismas y las publicaciones científicas. AD ha recibido 54 citas de 64 autores diferentes, con un 30,7% de trabajos que han sido citados al menos una vez, lo que ha permitido que la revista ocupe una destaca-da posición en el ranking de publicaciones españolas del área de la Biblioteconomía y Documentación.A bibliometric and thematic approach of the journal Anales de Docu-mentación (AD) is presented (1998-2007) on account of the celebration of its tenth anniversary. Productivity, collaborations patterns, research areas, visibility and jour-nal impact are analysed. AD has published 153 research papers presented by 176 au-thors belonging to 56 institutions. AD presents a gender equality, with an institu-tional participation of 12 different countries. The main themes analyzed are Internet and Information and Communication Technologies, Library Science, information management and knowledge management, evaluation and quality of services, infor-mation resources and access to them and scientific publications. AD has received 54 citations corresponding to 64 authors, 30.7% papers being cited. Because of that, AD has reached a relevant position in the ranking of Library and Information Sci-ence Spanish journals
